Racing results for 10/18/15

The weather turned much colder this Sunday, with strong winds 9–17 knots from the north, shifting occasionally to the northeast and northwest. The fleet suffered a few equipment failures, but most of the skippers managed to hold it together for most of the races.

Columbus Day Regatta 2015

We had great weather for the start of the Sunfish season. Winds started around 7 knots and gradually built to 11-14, with a few gusts as high as 16. Stephanie kept score, Wayne took photos, and Justin skippered the mark/safety boat. Greta suffered a brief indignity when her hiking strap broke, but got back in her 'fish and finished the regatta.
