This Week

Hauling the Rhodes19s this week - Tuesday 5pm (but not all at Edgewood)

After this weekend's wind, storm and sleet, our Rhodes19s are ready for a rest.  You can help.

Three teams are needed to hoist the Rhodes ashore - many roles.  Be in all three teams, or just turn up when you can.  No prior experience needed.

(1) Edgewood - MONDAY afternoon - 3pm un-stepping the masts.
**  Meet at Edgewood (3pm-5pm).

(2) Edgewood - TUESDAY - afternoon - 3pm - six sailors needed to steer in the tow from Edgewood to temporary moorings.
** Meet at Edgewood (3pm) come ashore at Rhode Island Yacht Club before the haul-out.

(3) Rhode Island Yacht Club - TUESDAY - evening - 5pm (at Rhode Island Yacht Club) - lend a hand for as long as you can.

Working in teams, help flip the Rhodes: many volunteers needed to position trailers, handle tag-lines to guide the boats onto trailers, and to help guide the trailers out of the hoist area.

Six Rhodes19s and the Etchells Columbia will be hoisted onto their trailers. Boats and trailers finish at Edgewood.
** Meet at Rhode Island Yacht Club 5pm (also later arrivals OK).

Work by "flipping teams" continues until done (usually about 7pm).
