November is Scholarship Month at Edgewood Sailing School!

This month, Edgewood Sailing School is recognizing the donors who have, for many years, made Rick MacNeil Youth Scholarship Program at ESS a reality. Thank you. Your continued generosity has helped us fund the sailing education of many ESS students. At Edgewood we've seen kids of limited means come in with scholarships and, with no sailing experience “learn the ropes” with us; or the more experienced sailors have attained racing skills; and even some of the MacNeil Scholarship sailors have moved up to become ESS junior instructors! 

As the sign says, “SAILING IS COURAGE,” and what our youth scholarship program is really about is building courage in kids who might not otherwise have that opportunity.   November is Scholarship month.   You can help.

The Rick MacNeil Youth Scholarship Program requires periodic  continued replenishment to continue its astounding mission. And that’s why we're asking friends of ESS this November to consider making donations to the scholarship fund.
