Seasonal temperatures finally put a chill in the air, which was moving either in all directions or not at all. Race Committee Stuart declared the course to be North South, but direction of the course was sometimes arbitrary. Wind directions were unpredictable and shifting 180 degrees within a few minutes.

Despite the light air, Race Committee sent sailors on longer than usual courses. The second race was a very long windward leeward race north to GC3 and around a south mark.

Throughout the day, forward momentum was a challenge.

On the fourth race, a triangle course, three boats were carried across the downwind finish line by a puff of air that declined in strength. Other boats that had not yet made the upwind mark behind them were stopped in their tracks. Boats sailed "forward" only to remain stationary due to unfavorable current relative to the target mark.

The 5th "windward leeward" race was in reality nearly a windward windward race.

Andrew took first place for the day. Jeff took second, and Dave S. took third for the day. Wayne who is new to The Frozen Few this season, had a first place finish in the last race and took fourth for the day!

Race committee completed five races (T, W, G, T, W).
