Two Anniversary events January 21-22 - Edgewood is "Up from the Ashes" with fundraising auction and racing

Two big events  coming January 21-22
as the Edgewood family looks for new wind for 2012
sponsored jointly by the Edgewood Yacht Club and the Edgewood Sailing School.

JAN21 - SATURDAY - 7pm - 10pm (tickets required)

           "EYC WINE & BEER TASTING" (The Shriners' Imperial Room, Broad Street)

Support the Edgewood Yacht Club Restoration Fund. 
Make your Contribution Count, bring friends, spread the word that
Edgewood is up an on the way!

Silent Auction, wine/beer tasting, hors d'oeuvres provided Edgewood members and by local distributors and the Pawtuxet Village's new wine/spirits merchant at the Cork and Brew .  Auction of over seven thousand dollars value of items include travel, Newport Harbor mooring privilege, interesting home and personal accessories, art and an impressive array of gifts.

JAN22 - SUNDAY - 9:30am (open and free to all) - winter racing

            "Up-from-the-Ashes" anniversary regatta and barbeque (at the Club)

            Start Another Year of Sailing - open racing in the EYC mooring field,

          Recall the frosty tent party from January 2011 as the Edgewood Frozen Few frost-bite sailors, friends and families led an invigorating, music-filled, Return to the Club, hoisting the Colors and the Club Burgee on what was one of the most exciting summer seasons ever. 

  This year, we'll have visiting Laser and SunFish sailors from around the Bay with us racing against our own local Frozen skippers, boats are here for the day.

  Food and prizes for the racers - a good time for all.

all adult/highschool FrostBite Sailors invited  - open registration: no racing fee

pre-register by email (allowed to bring boats to EYC on Saturday 10am-4pm)

registration (race day)  EYC on Sunday, 9:30am.     Racing: noon-2pm
