Edgewood Sailing School (inc) was organized in 1956 as a not-for-profit educational institution. The Sailing School has been recognized since 1977 by the Internal Revenue Service as an organization defined in section 501(c)(3) of the Code, not a foundation.  Gifts of property and/or direct financial support are tax-deductible to the donor under these provisions of the Code.  A copy of the IRS determination letter, Corporate Charter of the Sailing School and related documents is available upon request.
