This Week

IT WORKED ! the fleet is ashore - now the SATURDAY VOLUNTEERS

The weather behaved.
First hoist at 0700. The last boat was ashore on trailer at 1000. The Volunteers were on their way home at noon.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!.

Thanks to one, and to all for a splendid hauling-out project.

SATURDAY VOLUNTEERS start 9am this weekend

Now the Fleet is ashore, the Saturday Volunteers go into action to polish up the fleet before snows start.  SatVols arrive each Saturday, and form teams for a few hours to do the important end-of-season tasks: which at the moment, includes boat cleanup, carpentry, electrical, motor winterization, fiberglass, mast and deck rigging, sail maintenance, winter-covers work, and similar jobs. Volunteers can work 1 to 3 hours, depending on their availability.  All ladders, materials, safety equipment and tools provided by the Sailing School.  No prior skills needed. No heavy lifting.  But be sure to dress to work outside on damp ground.   A great time to learn and practice boat maintenance.

For INFO & to get on the ROSTER.
