Registration and Skipper’s Responsibilities: Each participant must register with the Race Committee and sign a Waiver Form before racing. Each skipper will accept responsibility for his or her own safety during racing and for deciding whether or not to race. Skippers will realize that winter sailing presents hazards of exposure, and will dress appropriately for weather and water temperatures and will be prepared for immersion. All skippers are required to wear life jackets while on the water. Wet/dry suits are highly recommended.

Race Committee Duty: Each week, at least once during the Season, one skipper serves on the Race Committee to do chores and duties.  These may include conducting starting sequences, scoring, safety boat driving, and mark setting, as well as taking the over-all responsibility for the use of Club property and for securing the Club at the finish of the day's activities.

Rules: International Sailing Federation The Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012 (RRS), US Sailing Association prescriptions, Sunfish Class Rules, this Notice of Race, and these Sailing Instructions will govern the racing.  RRS Rule 44.2 is changed.
