SLOW TIME?  PRACTICE YOUR MOVES

In town, August is vacation time.

Here on the water at Edgewood, August is chance to check out a Rhodes for a few hours of Practice. While land folks are on vacation, you can be sailing!

Many of us even have "make-up" credits which can convert to an afternoon of recreational sailing or even some Wednesday night racing.  How cool is that? (Email "Staff@edgewoodsailing.org" to find out.)

Before sundown comes early, and the new Fall Schedule kicks in, why not take a Rhodes for a spin and polish up, so you're ready to go after Labor Day when a whole new set of sailing classes and programs are in line to open.  "Sailing for Practice" is available many different times.  If you have a request which isn't on the calendar, just drop us a line and we'll create something brilliant.

FRIDAY (aug 4) 5:30 – Sailing for Practice ("Rec Sailing") re.55  

SUNDAY (aug 6) 1:30pm – Narragansett Bay Sail ("Picnic") rby.04  [updated]

TUESDAY (aug 8) 5:30 – new class - Beginning  Sailing (L1)  as.15.
TUESDAY (aug 8) 5:30 – new class - Harbor Sailing (L2) as.25 

WEDNESDAY (aug 9) 5:30pm – Racing (new skippers/crews) odr.82 

FRIDAY (aug 11) 5:30 – Sailing for Practice ("Rec Sailing") re.60  

SATURDAY (aug 12) 1:30 – Sailing for Practice ("Rec Sailing") re.61

Next  picnic "BAY SAIL" is August 5.        Boats are available. Let Jonathan know you're signing up as a group, and we'll take a few bucks off for each person. Plan ahead: for every week in AUGUST

*  fridays – "REC" SAILING– with EYC Friday burgers & grill supper/drinks available at Tent (sign up before sailing).

*  wednesdays - RHODES RACING - crews/skippers selected on dock
