Help Sailing School skippers swing out on the water. Saturday May 30, Soirée By The Bay 2015: refreshments, a challenging "silent auction" of things "remarkable and useful", and a chance to catch up with friends.

With nearly two dozen items, the weekend's  Edgewood Soirée Silent Auction List is creating a stir.  

One highlight is the 11 x 17 Abner Kingman's prize-winning Mirabaud Yacht Racing © photofrom 2013's America's Cup series.  The photo recalls the arching tension as the sailing machines vied for position, like Sunfish on steroids.

Other items in the Auction List so far also include:

• restaurant credits,
• pairs of tickets to the theater: The GAM, the TRINITY REP, as well as the OCEAN STATE,
• a shark-circled hand mirror,
• extraordinary graphics and an historic Edgewood plat survey page (framed and mounted),
• a custom birdhouse,
• family expeditions to Rose Island or onto Save The Bay's Seal Watch,
