NBYA 2012 Frostbite Regatta
(All Classes)

Registration: 9:00 am
Skippers meeting: 10:00 am
First race warning: 11:00 am
No race started after 2:00 pm 

1. Rules
   The regatta will be conducted in accordance with the following:
   1. The Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012, including the prescriptions of US Sailing.
   2. The rules of each class, applied only to that class.
   3. The Sailing Instructions and any amendments thereto
   4. This Notice of Race.
2. Eligibility
   1. The regatta is open to all.
   2. Classes registering 3 or more boats will be provided their own starts.
   3. Classes registering fewer than 3 boats will be grouped with another class at the discretion of the race committee.
3. Boats
   1. Competitors must bring their own boats.
   2. Each competitor will be responsible for his/her boat being in compliance with the class rules.
   3. Each boat must display a unique legible sail number, in the manner prescribed for that class in the Sailing Instructions.
4. Advance Registration
   1. Competitors or their fleet organizers should pre-register with notice of their intention to participate by contacting the regatta chair Bill Grenga at (401) 349-4539 or sending email to FRAC2012@edgewoodsailing.org. Please include contact information and the number and classes of boats expected to attend.
5. Registration
   1. Registration and signing of liability waivers will take place at 9:30 am on the day of the event.
   2. Each competitor must fill out a registration form and sign a liability waiver, which will be available at the event.  (Parent/guardian must sign for sailors under 18 years old.)
6. Fees
   1. There is no registration fee. Donations will be accepted to cover the cost of food and prizes.
7. Sailing Instructions
   1. The sailing instructions are on the web at http://edgewoodsailing.org/frac/2012/sailing-instructions and will be available at registration.
   2. Changes and class-specific sailing instructions will be posted at the event at least one hour before the first start.
