How to get on the water to start Frozen Racing

Printer-friendly versionPDF version

I want to sail this winter . . . . .

This year Stuart will again lead the action from the dock and from the whaler, according to these linked NOR and the SI.  See or email Stuart or Jonathan <FrozenFew@edgewoodsailing.org> for questions about any of the following.

Here's how . . . . .

  1. I pay FrostBite Racing fees & dockage  --  Same as last year, including discounts for high school and university skippers.
    (listed on: Registration form)

  2. I sign up for racing  --  Skipper needs to sign and provide information on a racing Registration form.

The form is available in this down-loadable .pdf format Registration form, or in-person at the Club bulletin board. The form explains your responsibilities, and your racing, visitor, and dock charges

  3. I get an EYC Winter Boat tag  --  When racing fees and dock charges are paid, you get a EYC Winter Boat Tag.

Payment on your fees and dock charges is due when your boat is brought to the Club for the first day of racing.  Paid status is confirmed by having an EYC Winter 2011/12 boat tag attached to your boat.  The current tag allows you to store your boat on the EYC docks/racks this winter, and allows you to store rig and foils in dry, locked and secure area.

  4. I bring my boat to Edgewood  --  Boats can be brought into the Club on Sundays.

Please bring your yacht to Edgewood on this or any Sunday morning starting from 9:00am, or by scheduling with us or with an EYC staff person. Fees paid before docking the boat.

  5. I put my name on everything  --  Equipment and hull need ID.

Anywhere at Edgewood, your equipment needs your name, initials, or your sail number on the each item: sail, booms, mast, daggerboard, rudder set and sail bag.  Your hull needs the current boat tag.

If you'd like to check in for further details or to make delivery arrangements, please send an email to Sturart or Jonathan at FrozenFew@edgewoodsailng.org.

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend.
