ESS Youth Program Plan - Isaias

Greetings Edgewood Youth Sailors and Families,

I hope everyone is following tropical system Isaias. By all accounts it appears the system will impact Rhode Island on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. At present Isaias is a hurricane, however forecasting does not predict it will be a hurricane when it enters our area. It may well be a tropical storm and it will certainly still have plenty of energy in the form of wind, rain and tide.

EDGEWOOD SAILING SCHOOL PLAN

Based on current forecasts, my current plan is to cancel all programming on Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY August 5, 2020
Wednesday programming is uncertain at best, so please plan on it being cancelled the entire day. I may modify this plan as the weather unfolds.

I’ll remind all that we have a new tool this year to text communicate any sudden closures, please ensure you are enrolled.
