Adult-Community Program Sailing starts next week — Youth Program begins June 17

This year the School resumes "teaching and enjoying the art of sailing" with the re-launching of the Rhodes 19s, and safety boats next weekend.  Up-coming classes include:

Youth Program

Adult Program

With student sailors lining up, boats in the water and volunteers in reserve, the instructors are primed for teaching, and the Edgewood Sailing School is ready to launch another of it's over-fifty successful seasons.  Some of the Youth program classes are full with waiting lists due to high demand; but there is space in the c420 basic/refresher, in some of the Starter Sailor classes, and in the July "Youth Cruising" groups.

In the Adult-community classes  there is busy registration in the new "Basic Sailing (for women)", and for the popular "Level One" classes.  In addition to the women's class, a half-dozen other new classes are being opened, to expand how people think about "going for a sail", such as "Night Sailing" or  "The Salty Dog - safe boating with pets" or the tranditional arts skills in "Knots and Splicing".  Private individual lessons are available in both the Adult and the Youth programs, beginning in May.
