apr 23 - SAT VOLS this Saturday 9-noon
It's the third weekend in APRIL . . . . 3-1/2 weeks to May 16th
Good evening folks -
and congratulations to Deepti & Brendan
As you remember, we'd left some boats in the north meadow. The group was smaller last week. (!) Still, managed to get the Rhodes bottoms started; and the first of the whalers up on the frame for easy access.
Thursday Catherine stopped by to clean all the Rhodes hulls (note Boat 3).
And Boat #1 is about half-way toward having re-built foredeck, along with a proper fairlead.
This week:
Rhodes19 - spot-prime on hull; safety/working check cleats & blocks
Safety Boats - bleach topsides, start bottom paint, s/w check controls
Wood & Trim - start on tillers, safety/working check floorboards
Forecast: 60°F clearing, wind N 12. Tide: HW 0927. LW 1433.
Look into Sailing School summer classes on the website.
Launch Date: We have favorable afternoon tides May 16-19.
