Sunfish racing clinic this Saturday

This Saturday is the Sunfish racing clinic with Amanda Callahan. The clinic is scheduled from 12 noon to 3 pm at Edgewood Yacht Club, and is open to all Edgewood frostbite skippers. Some things to keep in mind:

• Keep an eye on your email for last minute updates. The current weather forecast is for 26 knot gusts on Saturday, so there's a chance we will have to postpone or cancel.
• Eat before you come. Chris is bringing snacks for after, but not a full lunch.
• Please arrive early so that you can rig your boat and be ready to sail by noon. Kevin has offered to bring sail ties and offer rigging advice before the clinic, so leave extra time if you want his assistance.
• Don't launch your boat until we know if Amanda wants to look over our rigs and give further tuning advice.
• It sounds like the Barrington skippers will not be joining us, since they have their own race this weekend.
• Although Amanda is not charging us for the clinic, we will have a tip jar open to thank her for her time. We suggest bringing $20 or so for the tip jar, especially since her fleet of sailors from Barrington will not be attending.
